Fundraising Spring 2015 - Victoria Thompson
On March 31, 2015 the PRSSA hosted a fundraising event titled, March Madness!
Although it wasn't the usual basketball tournament, it was a slam dunk of a success. Located in the Keathley University Center on the second floor outside of the food court. The PRSSA March Madness bake sale had participants pay a dollar or less for a sweet treat. They were also able to take a chance and shoot a number of shots into the basketball goal.
On April 2nd, the PRSSA paired with the delicious Nachos Mexican Restaurant in order to raise money for ourselves, the Public Relations Student Society of America.
Nachos is a nearby restaurant that has always had a close relationship with MTSU students, providing a discount for all their meals with their student ID. They cooperated in a partnership with us to raise money. A percentage of everyone's meal, when our name was mentioned as they paid, went to out organization. This fundraiser was a great success for us and Nachos because there was a decent amount of money raised.
